As a rule, foreign students do not need to pass entrance exams for admission to the first university level in Italy, so theoretically it is possible to enter an Italian university simply with a high school diploma. But graduates of Russian schools need 1-2 additional years at a school in Italy or another country, or 1-2 courses at a Russian university. This does not apply to graduates of European schools: they can immediately enter a university in Italy after leaving school.

In addition, many Italian universities require their own language testing system. For admission, you need at least basic knowledge of Italian.
