We have been friends with the Paradise company since 1996, and the last time we used their services was when we were choosing a school for our son Denis in Spain. We settled on the school  Sotogrande International School. Time passed very quickly, and now the time had come for Denis to prepare to enter universities. He chose the specialty “computer science”. I am very pleased with how Ksenia Starostina and her assistants helped my daughters, Kira and Zlata, students of the British school King William's College, to enter universities in the UK. The girls studied in the IB program and, as expected, received high scores: 38 and 41. However, we considered it necessary to maximize the chances of success and relied not only on the help of the school. And they didn’t regret it! After all, one of the daughters even received a scholarship, which is rare in British universities!

Firstly, the daughters noted that earlier work on the personal essay in the summer before the last year of the IB school program helped them slowly understand the format and content of the essay, write it quickly and send their applications to universities quite early, when all their classmates were just figuring out what it is and “what it is eaten with.”

Throughout the summer, Ksenia’s team worked on adjusting the essay so that the girls could present themselves to the university as much as possible, reveal their potential, demonstrate their creative achievements, and their path to the desired profession.

Secondly, the girls learned the basics, so to speak, of navigating through university portals, where and what to look for, how to fill out all kinds of forms, forms, letters, etc.

Zlata was required to provide a creative portfolio for four out of five universities, and Ksenia’s team included an exceptional specialist in the field of fashion and design, with extensive experience in the industry. For each university, its own portfolio was created taking into account the requirements of the universities, including even taking into account the shades of color in the works.

The first “offers” (proposals) from universities were received when some classmates were still writing their personal essays. All that remained was to decide which of them to prefer, however, visiting, on the recommendation of Ksenia’s team, the so-called open days at the university for those who had already received their “offer”, that is, are already potential students, helped them make their first choice.

It is at such events that you can get acquainted with the courses in more detail, see the material base, talk with students who are already studying, and even take part in professional master classes.

Kira’s university provided an opportunity for foreign students to apply for a scholarship, which is provided in the form of a discount on the first year of study; for this it is also necessary to write an essay and answer special questions. Ksenia’s team successfully conducted a consultation, and the scholarship was received.

After enrolling in universities, Ksenia and her team were constantly in touch, advising on how to speed up obtaining the CAS required for applying for a visa, you can also find out from them all the nuances of paying for tuition, and how to request an invoice from the university.

Of course, according to CAS, huge respect to Anna Nikolaeva, first of all, it was she who helped Zlata find the right phone number, after calling the right department, they wrote a letter THEMSELVES, asking them to speed up the work for Zlata. How to jump on the rapidly departing train of summer practices and necessary work experience? Now I can say - write to Ksenia at
the Paradise company. Almost a month of research work in the team of a biology professor can be said to have “made” my daughter’s resume.

When we often talk about Personal Statement, which sometimes accounts for a good 40% of your success when entering universities, they forget to say that this is not only trueth structure and beauty of the syllable. The main thing is CONTENT. But in order to fill it with content, work must begin three years before. It's no secret that any “work experience” your personal statement will not decorate it in any way. Top British universities don't care much about how many old ladies you've sent across the street or what great experience you've had working as a cashier in a store over the summer if you're applying to study evolutionary biology.

In February last year, feverishly combing through various sites and turning over all our acquaintances in our minds, we discovered in despair that time had been lost. Everything more or less decent was booked and dismantled six months ago, or even earlier.
