St Teresa’s School, a boarding school for girls, was founded in 1928, and the school building was built in 1799. St Teresa's School is located near the village of Effingham, in a beautiful hilly area in Surrey, which has always been considered a popular place to stay with British celebrities and nobles. By train, you can get from central London in just 30 minutes.

The school is located on 22 hectares of land, and its location received the official status of "Area of extraordinary natural beauty." The school is located outside the city, and girls can study in a safe and relaxed atmosphere.

Teachers give individual attention to each student, help develop their strengths. This allows girls to achieve the highest levels of learning and at the same time develop culturally and spiritually.

420 students’ study in school, 15% of them are from other countries.

Arguments in favour of a separate training for girls are as follows:

  • Girls develop physically and emotionally somewhat faster than boys and they do not have to adapt to the "lagging" classmates.
  • Girls, as a rule, are more self-organized and have better discipline, girls' teams are better organized and focused on learning.
  • “Amorous affairs” do not distract from study.
  • Girls grow up independent and do not expect someone to do “non-female work” for them.

The competitive environment attracts little and sometimes depresses girls, who value support and teamwork much more.
