There are 10 houses in the school - six for boys and four for girls, each of which has about 60 students. Mentors and their families also live in homes.

  • Hockey
  • Cricket
  • Netball

  • Tennis

Additional classes

In addition to the planned program, the philosophy of the Art School encourages the concepts of “art for all” and “education through an exhibition,” and its doors are open throughout the week for students of all ages and interests. The department annually organizes a fashion show of fashion collections made by students, and also collaborates with other departments to conduct various events.

The Artists-in-Residence scheme allows students, both within and outside the curriculum, to benefit from the experience and inspiration of recent graduates and practicing artists.

Pupils can take part in the school theatre, be involved both on the stage and behind the curtains. The theatre offers many styles: from small studio plays to full-scale shows. Extracurricular activities include all aspects of theatrical production: acting, directing, stage management, sound, design and lighting control, hair, makeup and costume design.

The Repton school has an enviable theatrical history and an outstanding tradition of educating both an amateur actor and a novice professional - Tom Chambers, Nicholas Burns and George Rainsford - recent students of the school who follow the traditions of Basil Rathbone (an actor known in the United Kingdom as a Shakespearean theatre actor; he starred in more than 70 films, mostly costumed dramas, played scammers and, sometimes, in horror films).

The School of Music offers Repton students an inspiring, individually tailored music program, always striving to meet the students' specific requirements and their talents.

The school has many opportunities for performances - from friendly informal concerts to professional concerts, performances in the chapel and major orchestra concerts. The music department hosts instrumental ensembles, choirs, and bands.

Other additional activities include: The Cadet Corps (CCF), which is aimed at developing leadership abilities, responsibility, independence, resourcefulness, endurance and perseverance among boys and girls. Pupils join the CCF at age 14. The program includes physical training on an obstacle course, orientation on a map / compass, first aid, climbing, kayaking, rafting, sailing and much more. RAF cadets have regular opportunities to learn flying skills.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a national program for young people aged 14 to 25 years. The program requires considerable determination, but many universities and employers recognize the value of the Duke of Edinburgh Prize because it shows that its owner is disciplined, entrepreneurial, and persistent.
