LVS Ascot School - boarding school for boys and girls. The school was founded in 1803. In 1989, the school moved to its current home in Ascot, Berkshire, near London and Surrey.

LVS Ascot is a very friendly, well-equipped school with a warm atmosphere, in which modernity is perfectly combined with timeless values, and the concept of "non-selectivity" is considered as a launching pad for success. The queen is the patroness of the school.

In total, more than 900 students study here, about 200 - in full board.

PROGRAM

GCSE

A two-year program for obtaining a certificate of general secondary education. 6 subjects are mandatory for studying, 4 subjects are studied by choice.

A-level

A two-year program to prepare for admission to the university. Students choose 4 or 5 subjects for in-depth study.

ACCOMMODATION

Living on campus, the school has 4 separate houses (Bas, Guinness, Carlsberg and Gilbey), each with its own atmosphere and a team of attendants. Boys and girls live separately. Each of the modern and purpose-built houses is equipped with a training space, access to computers, a kitchen, and shared rooms. Accommodation from 2 to 5 people in a room. There is also an area for watching TV or DVDs, a game pool, an area for table games and table tennis.

SPORT

Thanks to excellent sports facilities, including a sports hall, fitness room, swimming pool, climbing wall and playground, students are offered a wide selection of sporting events throughout the year. The presence of an indoor pool allows children to intensively engage in swimming and exercise three times a week at 6:30 in the morning. Fitness lovers work out in the well-equipped gym. Recently, the school opened an elite golf academy for high school students.

The school is particularly proud of the students' achievements in swimming, rugby and judo. Specialist trainers give students the opportunity to take part in sporting events, including rowing and polo.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

Pupils enjoy various activities both during the week and on weekends. They range from indoor competitions and sporting events to competitions between school teams. Also organized trips to local urban centres, to the beach, to the cinema, bowling, karting, paintball, to professional sports matches, etc.

A wide range of events and extra-curricular clubs allows students to broaden their horizons in team sports, drama and music, visits, clubs, hobbies and interests.

The musical direction is represented by five choirs, ensembles (including rock direction), a music recording studio. About a third of students play a musical instrument. Drama can be practiced throughout the school.

The school has a very dynamic, with unusual works and sculptures, department of fine art and a department of technological design with modern equipment that is very popular among children. The curriculum on design and technology is possible in four areas: graphics, materials, textiles, and food technology, using 3D printers and laser cutters to bring computer design projects to life.
