Llandovery College is a small private boarding school co-educational. It was founded in 1847 and is one of the oldest and most respected educational institutions in Wales.

PROGRAM

GCSE

The program for obtaining a certificate of general secondary education. Required for study - 6 subjects. In addition, each student selects 3 subjects from the list of additional. Thus, a total of 9 subjects are studied in the program.

A-level

A two-year university preparatory program. One item from each block is selected. As a rule, students choose subjects according to their academic interests and the chosen specialty, which they plan to study at the university.

ACCOMMODATION

Living in a residence where a very comfortable and homely atmosphere is created. Boys and girls live in different houses. Pupils live in rooms of 3-5 people. High school students have double or single rooms. Each house has a common living room, a computer room, a small kitchen where you can prepare tea and snacks. Studying in such a small school creates a feeling of strong community and cohesion. Teachers and their families also live on campus.

SPORT

The main sports are rugby, hockey, netball and cricket. Rugby and hockey school teams constantly perform at national and even international competitions. You can also do athletics, basketball, badminton, fitness, gymnastics, dancing, aerobics, squash, football, tennis, cross-country running, swimming, fencing and golf.

The school has close ties with many sports clubs in the country and has the ability to send students to additional training under the guidance of professional instructors.
