The prestigious English school for girls Heathfield was founded in 1899, among its students are daughters of royalty from around the world, writers, successful business women, actresses, models. The school occupies a leading position in the ratings of private educational institutions in the UK.

The school is located on a vast territory near the city of Ascot. Thanks to good transport access, you can easily and quickly get to Windsor, London and Oxford. Located 11 miles west of London (20 minutes by car). Heathrow Airport can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The school occupies 35 acres.

In summer, the school offers English courses for girls.

These courses have been organized for over 40 years and are among the most sought after in the UK. Since 1987 Heathfield Summer School has been accredited by the British Council and we are the only accredited all girls summer school in England.

EQUIPMENT

Set in the beautiful, leafy environs of Ascot, famous for its Royal Racecourse, Heathfield School is located within an hour of both London and Heathrow Airport. Founded in 1899, Heathfield is set in 36 acres of tree lined grounds, and our international students have access to all our extensive, modern facilities. The school has a modern educational and technical base. A large sports centre, a 25-meter pool, tennis court, sports grounds, a dance school, a theatre studio, an art school, and cooking classrooms.

PROGRAM

English language + active events

15 English lessons per week in the morning and a rich program of sports and leisure activities - in the afternoon and in the evening. Thus, language training takes place not only in the classroom, but also outside it, allowing students to improve practical speaking skills in real-life communication situations.

During the classes, students improve their language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening to the language, and also learn the basics of English grammar. Each lesson is filled with fascinating and interesting tasks, for which you need to use your imagination and creativity.

Our General English courses focus on developing communicative skills which are immediately applicable in the real-world environment. Balancing accuracy and fluency, students can expect a focus on grammar, vocabulary, functional language and skills appropriate for their level.

Project based work is focused on developing various aspects of speaking sub-skills as well as areas such as creative and critical thinking. Students work in a team to create or develop products and presentations, conduct and participate in interviews, undertake and report on surveys. Sub-skills developed may include turn-taking, negotiation, problem solving and decision making and leading a team, to name but a few.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation in a residence. Older girls are accommodated in single rooms, younger girls - in rooms for several people. Each room has a sink. Shower and toilet on the floor. Girls are always supervised by mentors and cannot leave school on their own.

Three meals a day, with a large selection of healthy hot food and drinks, including a vegetarian menu. Between classes, drinks and cookies are offered.
