The success story of Stanislav Kataev (son of the founder of Paradise, Natalya Shtrain)

Stanislav Kataev first went to a London kindergarten at the age of 3.5 years, where he bravely spent 3 days, and then gave up and forced his parents to leave this idea until better times.

At 10 Stanislav went with a group from the Paradise company to Switzerland for 2 weeks at an English-speaking summer camp at the school Institut auf dem Rosenberg. 
This trip was followed by others, mainly to England, to school in Salisbury. At the age of 12, they also paved the way to Germany: the boy went to learn German on Lake Hentersee. 

During the school year, he studied English with a Russian tutor, but without visible progress, only summer trips for 3-4 weeks got off the ground. 
By the age of 14, the motivation to study at a secondary school in Krasnoyarsk became sharply fall. Stanislav ran away from the art studio and did not do his homework, and the teachers generously distributed “praise” to him. like “you’re a moron, let them teach you at home” and “you’re inadequate.” 

The parents decided to send him to study at a British boarding school, which turned the life of the child, and the whole family, upside down. Stanislav entered the British school King William's college on the Isle of Man in the middle of the 10th grade according to the English system, leaving the 8th grade of the Russian gymnasium. The school was selected based on the opportunity to enroll in a year that was not particularly difficult  entrance examinations, location at sea, availability of German and a high-quality art studio. And also because of the isolated location: on the Isle of Men there is no crime and no temptations, like on a submarine :) An ideal place for an undecided teenager. 

Stanislav's studies did not always indicate stable diligence. Meanwhile, his artistic talent grew stronger, and he reached the level of a professional portrait painter.  
In addition, Stas joined the rugby team, was elected prefect (conducted an election campaign), unexpectedly for his parents signed up for piano lessons and played three of the year. He also studied Russian language and literature. 

Stas came from Russia with firm confidence (read: label): he – humanitarian. This is where miracles began to happen. In the 3rd year of study, Stas suddenly showed interest in higher mathematics and physics. Moreover, he began to strive with all his might to move to the highest level in this subject, which he achieved. (In the UK, kids are divided by level so that everyone can learn at the same speed and no one is held back). 

Physics, which was taught at the gymnasium in Krasnoyarsk by anyone but a physicist, was completely unfamiliar to Stanislav. He, one might say, first met her in England. Therefore, it was not easy, but it was very interesting. And patience and motivation – everything will be crushed. 
As a result, the young man, who has never shown signs of being a techie, realizes that his calling – computer science! 
He enters Cardiff university, which is part of the Russell group – the most prestigious 24 universities in the UK, including Oxford and Cambridge. 
I studied with pleasure and perseverance, not allowing myself school changes.

The result is impressive: the young man graduated with honors! First class honors, as the honors diploma is called in the UK, are received by about 25% of university graduates, most of whom – British. To be able to get such an assessment while studying in a foreign language – not a field to go to. Bravo!

From the age of 14, Stas worked part-time in the summer, as well as at the university during the academic year. Therefore, the work environment was not something unknown to him. Quite quickly he found a job, and this during a pandemic, when there were 52 candidates for every 1 vacancy in the IT field in the UK! He works as a programmer at Yoello in Cardiff and works on his own projects.

From the first day of graduation, he did not ask his parents for a penny of money and completely supports himself. Stanislav is making a confident career; he currently works in a French bank in London.
