In 2010, Victoria entered the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, but her parents persuaded her to enroll in an academically strong and luxurious British school Queen Ethelburga’s college , in the 6th form (as the 12th and 13th graduating classes are called here). The first year in a foreign land was not easy. The class teacher at a Moscow school almost convinced him otherwise! As a Russian teacher, she inspired both her brother and sister that they had “innate illiteracy.”

“You know, and we ourselves have already begun to believe in it,” Victoria shakes her head. How she managed to get the highest Unified State Exam results in the entire class - only God knows. It was impossible to please the teacher. No matter what you do, everything is bad. “My eye was twitching,” the girl complains. It got to the point of comical: once the mother of schoolchildren decided to help the children and wrote a report until 3 am. For which she was awarded a “C”. Eh, little did the unlucky teacher know that retribution was just around the corner. And she came in the form of an angry parent.

Now Victoria and her brother have their own cosmetology clinic: he takes care of the operating room, she – clients and strategy. We started with a cell with one device, purchased at the lowest possible price. Since childhood, the girl dreamed of a beauty salon and worked part-time in one during her student years. After Queen Ethelburga’s entered the prestigious UCL for educational studies, that is, for pedagogy. She dreamed of opening a school in Russia, but stopped, deciding to remain under the protection of British law. At first I went to work in a large salon to gain experience: 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. She laughs, remembering that she didn’t know the faces of the celebrities who often visited there, and shouted at them in the back: “Pay the bill!” Having learned that Victoria dreamed of owning a salon, the employer herself helped her purchase her first device at a discount. The people of London helped the aspiring businesswoman with everything!

“Only with age do you understand what the British school gave you and how lucky you are,” shares Victoria. He says they chose the school based on their level of comfort, like many Russians. At that time, the heroine admits, “those were our values.” The younger brother is now studying at another school, a more modest one, Bournemouth Collegiate. At the age of 18, Victoria dreamed of the lights of London and the dance floor of nightclubs, and not of a school in the Yorkshire wilderness, albeit a luxurious one. She laughs: she knew the names of the clubs better than the alphabet! One Chinese man said that for many years he asked his parents to send him to an English school, and finally, on his 16th birthday, they gave him such a gift. The Russian crowd was shocked by this recognition: school as a gift?! Who needs this? Birthday gifts - they are in small boxes… Victoria bursts into laughter, remembering her former self.
