John F. Kennedy International School was founded in 1949. The school is located in the German part of Switzerland, in one of the most beautiful mountain villages. It is located just 3 km from the world-famous ski resort of Gstaad.
They still exist - real alpine villages. Saanen is one of them. Here are cosy chalets, mountains and cattle. They give the Saanenland resort region their charm. The village and its inhabitants are the embodiment of alpine authenticity. Visitors feel at home here.
In summer, the school offers children an adventure camp, training in nature, in vivo. This is an adventure that will be remembered for a long time.
KEY FACTORS
- English is the main language of the camp. Children practice it in the process of activization, games and communication. This is the best way to start confidently speaking a foreign language!

EQUIPMENT
The school has a well-equipped library of 8000 volumes, a large number of computers with training programs, and a video library.
PROGRAM
The program is a real adventure camp. In addition, the camp is also informative! Children learn a lot about the world and nature.
Research: children will actively explore the forest, rivers and mountains, examine the mountain stream, check the purity of the water, its speed and temperature. They explore the flora and fauna of the river and find out how it changes.
Discoveries: children will learn, for example, the wonders that rock formations can offer. They will not only discover various geological formations, but they will also learn how limestone was formed and will look for fossils. In addition, children will learn how birds and insects use the rocky habitat for their purposes.
Tourism: children will learn to build a campground, choose the right place, make a fire, and ensure safe living. Amazingly clean alpine air will make it possible to observe the Milky Way and see the real night life.
Hiking: a great opportunity to discover the Alps. Children will get acquainted with alpine flora and fauna, as well as life on summer pastures. They will learn how to navigate safely in the mountains with the help of a map and a compass, consider weather conditions and choose the right equipment for hiking.
ACCOMMODATION
Living in a traditional chalet in the heart of a picturesque area. Boys and girls live separately.
