Girls are accepted to school from 16 years old.

Westminster School is one of the most prestigious boarding schools in the UK, and it's hard to imagine a school with a more royal status. It was founded in 1179. The school is proud of the high academic results of graduates (Westminster has the highest percentage of admission to Oxford and Cambridge). Graduates of the school were 7 prime ministers.

The school is located in the very centre of London, between Parliament and the Supreme Court. It is difficult to find a more “London” school — Westminster Abbey is the chapel of the school. One of the oldest, most famous and inaccessible schools in the world, where only the MOST talented children of the world study. The patroness of this school was Elizabeth I herself.

The musical traditions of the school are not just strong: students stage professional operas in French and performances in Greek. One of the main concert halls in London is being filmed for their demonstration.

EQUIPMENT

The school campus has excellent infrastructure, has numerous buildings and structures, including playing fields, a large sports centre, sports grounds, tennis courts, a shooting gallery, climbing walls, a rowing training centre.

The school has its own modern theatre (The Millicent Fawcett Hall) with a large stage, rehearsal rooms and dressing rooms. PROGRAM

GCSE

The program for obtaining a certificate of general secondary education. Required to study 6 subjects, 4 subjects are studied by choice.

A-level

A two-year university preparatory program. Students choose 4 or 5 subjects for in-depth study.

Cambridge pre-u

Alternative to the A-level program. The program of preparation for entering the top universities of the country, which allows students to concentrate as much as possible on the study of priority disciplines and get a high-quality result. The program includes 28 basic subjects for study, students have an absolutely free choice of subjects.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation in a residence on the territory of the school in one of 11 houses. Each house has a relaxation area and places to study.

SPORT

The school offers more than 25 sports: rowing, soccer, netball, shooting, dancing, yoga, aerobics, fencing, cricket, basketball, hockey, volleyball, handball, badminton, rock climbing, judo, table tennis and much more.

Many students represent the school in competitions, and also successfully perform at the national and international level. Sports training tours to other countries are held: Switzerland, USA, Spain, Barbados. The music and theatre department of the school is very popular among students. Children participate in theatrical productions, hone their skills in the classroom and master classes.
