Campbell College, a private boarding school for boys, was founded in 1894 and is located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The college is located in a safe and picturesque place and occupies a large forested area in the suburbs of eastern Belfast. Nearby there is a small lake.

EQUIPMENT

The college covers an area of ​​100 acres. It has excellent sports equipment: a 25-meter pool, 11 rugby fields, 5 cricket fields, 2 hockey fields, 4 tennis courts, a squash court, a running track, a shooting range, a strength training room, 5 gyms and a lake.

For creativity there are all conditions: an art studio, a theatre with 120 seats, a music school and a theatre studio. PROGRAM

The curriculum of the school is very wide, a large selection of subjects for study is offered.

GCSE

The program for obtaining a certificate of general secondary education. The key are 6 subjects, and another 4 students choose for themselves, based on their academic interests and future plans for training.

A-level

A two-year university preparatory program. During this period, students reduce the number of subjects studied and choose only those that correspond to their academic interests and the university and specialty chosen for admission. For each subject, 5 hours of classes per week in the class are given, as well as a minimum of 5 hours per week of individual student work.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

Residence in a college residence in one of the houses, in accordance with the age of the child. The residence has created a cosy atmosphere of "home away from home", where the student is provided with all the necessary support.

High school students live in a separate house, which was specially built for high school students in 2012. Each room has a bathroom and toilet, as well as electronic doors, the comfort of the house resembles an excellent hotel. It has a games room, a living room with a TV, and an equipped kitchen.

Understanding the importance of a healthy diet and its impact on the productive learning of children, the college is proud of the standards of its cuisine. Dishes are prepared daily, even bread is baked every day. At the same time, the wishes of the children with regard to food are necessarily considered.

SPORT

Students can engage in various sports: football, hockey, rugby, cricket, swimming, tennis, golf, badminton, volleyball, gymnastics, polo, scuba diving, water polo, fencing, handball, judo, rock climbing, archery. School sports teams are very strong and regularly represent the school in competitions at various levels. The college raised many famous athletes.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

Campbell College offers a huge number of extracurricular activities based on interests that help students to form as diverse personalities. You can study at a language club, attend a political debate club or a chess club. Students have the opportunity to play in the theatre, make music, take part in school orchestras or groups, and do art.
