Summer Camp Rossall School offers effective courses for teens from around the world. The camp is organized by the international company ACCORD, which owns several prestigious language schools in Europe. The camp is located on the territory of one of the best British schools on the northwest coast of the United Kingdom - Rossall School. This is a quiet area of extraordinary beauty: the school was founded in 1844, and recently, a large-scale reorganization and modernization was carried out, the main buildings and buildings were repaired and equipped.

EQUIPMENT

The camp is located on the territory of Rossall School with a total area of ​​60 hectares. In Summer Camp Rossall School there is everything that children may need for learning, comfortable living, including cosy living rooms for relaxation, computer classes, a photo studio, a multifunctional gym and a spacious swimming pool with heated water. Children can play golf and football and participate in sports.

PROGRAM

The camp offers effective language courses with an intensity of 20 hours a week. All lessons are taught by qualified teachers of English as a foreign language.

At the end of the course, all students:

• Improve grammar.
• Gain confidence in themselves and their oral English skills.
• Improve written, reading and listening skills.

At the end of the course, all students receive an individual report on the progress made in training, as well as a certificate of successful completion of the course (if the total length of the child’s stay in the camp is three or more weeks).

The school offers an additional program of advanced English level (August 20 - 27, 2022). For learning you need a level of language not lower than B1. Children will learn to write academic essays, critically read texts in English, write notes, use arguments, make presentations.

In addition to English lessons, the school offers specialized courses. Classes are held after lunch (students who do not attend these courses participate in the activity program).

• 1 week (July 6-13) - Tennis or Art: drawing and painting
• Week 2 (July 13-20) - Horse riding or British cookery
• Week 3 (July 20-27) - Football or Astronomy
• Week 4 (July 27 - August 3) - Golf or Advanced English
• (To study in the advanced English course, a language level of at least B1 is required. Children will learn to write academic essays, critically read texts in English, write notes, use arguments, make presentations).
• Week 5 (August 3-10) - Football or Music Academy
• Week 6 (10-17 August) - Golf or British Cooking
• Week 7 (August 14-24) - Tennis or Design and Technology

ACCOMMODATION

Children live in rooms for 1-2 people, sufficient amenities are located on each floor. Meals are organized in the spacious common dining room, which invariably reminds children of the main hall from the Harry Potter films. The diet is very diverse, balanced, served a large number of fresh vegetables and fruits. Teachers and educators eat with children, providing additional language practice during meals.

Additional classes

In addition to the main curriculum in the afternoon, all students can attend a variety of interest classes and take part in social events in the evening.

EXCURSIONS

On weekends, interesting and informative excursions take place, always under the careful supervision of teachers. Some excursions are cultural in nature, allowing you to learn more about interesting places in the UK, its history and geography. Other excursions allow children to test themselves and their strengths.

All excursions are a great opportunity to gain practical English skills.
