For the past school year, our son Nikita studied in Switzerland at Leysin American School. The decision to continue studying abroad was made after consultations with friends whose children are already studying abroad, and specialists from the Paradise company. Our choice fell on LAS and, to be honest, we did not regret sending our son there. The conditions created at the school for study, life, comfortable living for students, and the technical equipment of the school are worthy of the highest marks.
The regulations for studying and living are such that, despite strict control by school staff, schoolchildren must plan their own preparation for classes and personal time, which in itself is very disciplined and teaches independence. I had a chance to see this personally during a trip to visit my son. Unfortunately, due to objective circumstances, we were forced to return and continue studying at home, but I am sure that the year spent in Switzerland gave my son irreplaceable life experience and a really good level of English.
