In 2009 two of my sons began their studies at Pre Fleuri school in Switzerland; it is a small family school for younger children. After one year of studies we transferred our elder son Vladimir to Leysin American School, and one more year after Egor, the younger, went to Champittet.
Vova’s graduation and admission to college is on the doorstep; he is planning to enter a university in Geneva or Lausanne, but we also consider choosing a college in France, so, we decided to transfer him to Champittet where all subjects are taught in French. I am glad that my boys study in the same country, and that they will be at the same school soon. It will be nice for them to support one another.
After four years of studies, Egor can answer all questions the school’s visitors may ask. Studying in Switzerland, the boys became very independent, they learned making their own decisions they only inform us about; the reason is school discipline and genuine European breeding.
We have visited our children a number of times, and it is not the first time we notice how different Swiss schools are from Russian ones. There are normally 9, maximum 13 students at class, and each child gets individual attention. The schools are perfectly equipped for both academic studies and sports.
Switzerland is a very democratic country making no difference between nationalities. Everyone gets an equally positive attitude, it is tidy and safe, everyone is law-abiding and it is impossible to behave differently in such an environment. Our boys are passionate sport lovers: they do snowboarding, and we chose a place where they could continue their training. Swiss climate is perfect for it.
We are really happy for having chosen this country for the education of our children!
