Canadian Language Learning College (CLLC) is located in several locations in Eastern Canada and provides excellent facilities for learning and practicing English as a foreign language. The learning experience accumulated over many years, the most modern methods, excellent equipment and technologies allow students to feel here as in the most advanced school.
School campuses are located in Ottawa, Toronto, and Halifax.
Ottawa is the capital of Canada, the fourth largest city in the country with a population of 1.2 million people. This is the safest and cleanest city in Canada and its educational centre. Ottawa has many museums and galleries; the annual largest event is held here: Canada Day. Ottawa - a clean, well-groomed, safe city, is one of the first places in terms of living in Canada. In just a couple of hours by train, you can reach Toronto, Montreal and New York.
Toronto is Canada's largest city with a population of more than 2.5 million people. It is in fourth place in the world in terms of living. The city has many theatres, professional sports teams, great festivals and events, as well as shopping centres for shopping enthusiasts. Toronto is recognized as the safest of the major cities in North America. The city has a convenient and well-developed transport system for the metro, buses, taxis.
Halifax is one of Canada’s most welcoming and friendly cities. The population is more than 400 thousand people. Halifax is a student city in which more than 30 thousand students’ study. The city has five universities and three campuses. This young and active city offers excellent learning opportunities. Halifax is a safe city with a cultural diversity rich in history, art and entertainment. It is the largest Canadian city on the Atlantic coast.

PROGRAM
General English
This course is designed for 6 levels lasting 10 weeks, 25 hours of classes per week.
The course includes:

Intensive (accelerated) English program
The English Language Learning Program combines general English with additional specialized subjects. This program is taught at levels 4, 5 and 6. Its duration is 6 weeks instead of 10, which includes 35 hours of classes per week.
Business English
This course focuses on the study of vocabulary and business situations and includes:
- teamwork to solve business problems
- improving presentation skills
- use of business vocabulary and key terminology
- preparation of reports and business correspondence
Preparing for IELTS / TOEFL

An intensive program is available in combination with a general English course to fully prepare for the test. Students are enrolled in this program after completing level 4 of a course in general English.
University Transition Program (UPP)
This program focuses on such important issues as preparing for exams, writing essays, preparing presentations, organizing working hours, and taking effective notes. Training includes 25 hours of classes per week.
After successfully completing this program, students will be able to enter any of the partner universities without passing a language exam, namely: Dalhousie University, Saint Mary's University, Mount Alison University, Nova Scotia Community College, Nova Scotia Agricultural College, Cape Breton University, St. Francis Xavier University.
Group program
CLLC English School offers exciting English courses during excursions and various events. The courses have different programs, including classes and educational and leisure activities. Groups consist of a minimum of 5 people. Students from 14 years old are accepted for this program.
Family program
This program provides an opportunity for students under the age of 16 to study at one of the partner schools, while parents will study at the CLLC English language school. Thus, the family can relax and spend time together.
Program - English to choose from (plus one)
A program specially designed by the college that allows students to choose from a variety of topics for study exactly those that meet their interests and are necessary to fill in the missing academic skills. Classes are available at lunch time from Monday to Thursday.
The program changes every two weeks and students have the opportunity to study many topics, including: idioms, debates, grammar, IELTS preparation, media art, Canadian newspapers, English in art, presentation preparation skills, essays, English in music, pronunciation, theatre, children's literature, statistics, history of Canada, English in cinema, health and fitness, poetry.
ACCOMMODATION
Students can choose to stay in a stylish student residence. This accommodation includes: a single room or a double room, a common lounge, a bathroom and 24-hour security. Reservations must be made at least two months before arrival.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Language training takes place not only in classrooms, but also in real communication, when visiting excursions and in the process of various interesting classes. The school offers a huge number of activities outside the classroom. All activities are aimed at ensuring that students have a good rest and improve their English in a relaxed atmosphere: sailing, horseback riding, visiting museums, dinners with teachers, ice skating, swimming, picnics and more. You won’t be bored.
