The Stowe House building complex is a masterpiece of world architecture. More than 40 monuments and buildings today amaze visitors with their beauty.

According to the first director and founder of the school, J. Roxburgh, children must grow, surrounded by beauty, among the majestic architecture and magnificent nature. The central building of Stowe is located in one of the most beautiful palaces of the XVIII century - the former estate of the Duke of Buckingham. Around the school on 750 acres are landscaped gardens, parks and lakes. Parks and grandiose gardens of the school are considered the most important in Europe, are the embodiment of the Enlightenment of the 18th century.

The school is proud that over the 90 years of the institution's existence, all ruling monarchs or their spouses have visited it. In 2007, Queen Elizabeth II took part in the opening of the house where the girls live.

Schooling and education are based on the philosophical ideas of Stoicism, and students are called "Stoics."

When you approach Stowe, you catch yourself wondering if you were in Versailles by mistake! The Dukes of Buckingham spared no money to decorate their palace, where schoolchildren now find among statues and huge canvases. It's funny to hear the clink of simple cutlery that staff lays on tables from Ikea in the dining room, the ceiling of which is painted with stunning frescoes! Grandiose! Majestically! The types by which children are spoiled for life! As they say to me, we are not opposed to our pupils enjoying the beauty and carrying it through life! Read more

Stowe school is perhaps the most beautiful school in the world! Founded in 1923 and located in the palace of the Dukes of Buckingham, among the gardens protected by UNESCO.

Special attention at Stowe School is given to MUSIC, THEATER, visual arts and sports. In the classrooms of the huge music school for 6 million pounds, the Steinway piano flaunts. Each week, concerts are given by both students and professional musicians, famous graduates, composer Harry Gregson-Williams, who wrote the music for Shrek, are eager to visit their hometowns. In the 60s, unknown Beatles came here to give a concert, for which they were paid ... 100 pounds!
