The college is located in the town of Bishopstrow in the southwest of England, in a beautiful green countryside near the cities of London, Oxford and Bath.

A 5-week summer academic program has been created specifically for foreign students who plan to begin training in British boarding schools in the near future. The program is also suitable for those who want to learn in a short period of time what it means to be a student of a British school.

The course takes place during the academic semester at school, children are introduced into the ongoing educational process, it is not just summer courses. Thus, newcomers become full-fledged college students, albeit for only 5 weeks.

The course combines the study of English and academic subjects, including mathematics, history and science. The program is perfectly complemented by extracurricular activities: sports, creativity, excursions. This will allow students to spend the summer with benefit and pleasure.

EQUIPMENT

The school covers an area of ​​8 acres and is located in a very beautiful green area. The school has beautiful gardens and a lot of playgrounds. Classes are held in the newly opened block, in new modern classrooms.

PROGRAM

For children 7-14 years old - 25 hours of academic subjects per week and 5 hours of homework.

For children 14-17 years old - 30 hours of academic subjects per week and 7.5 hours of homework.

Upon arrival, each student passes a test on which his level of knowledge of English and mathematics is determined.

ACCOMMODATION

Children 7-14 years old live in the residence of Barrow House, in the heart of the school, in rooms for 2-8 people. Children 14-17 years old live in double and triple rooms in a residence near the school. Boys and girls live separately.

All students have access to school equipment, common rooms for rest and games. The school has WI-FI. Children eat in the large school cafeteria.

The school is proud of its concern for students. The entire staff of the school works so that every child feels comfortable and safe. All staff working in the residence underwent first-aid courses, and in case of any health problems, the children will immediately be taken to the hospital, where they will provide the necessary assistance.

SPORT

Sports activities contribute to the development of team spirit, self-confidence and help to quickly integrate into the school community. You can engage in swimming, walking, tennis, football, basketball, horseback riding and golf for an additional fee, as well as take part in exciting team games.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

In addition to the main program of the course, all students can attend classes in music, art, theatre, as well as create a group multimedia project that requires research (a project in the form of a film, poster or PowerPoint presentation). All these classes are aimed at ensuring that children constantly communicate in English in an informal extracurricular setting, developing their horizons and expanding the scope of the language.

Students can also attend a variety of hobby classes: science club, chess, debate club, cooking outdoors, building a boat, and more.

EXCURSIONS

On weekends, interesting and informative excursions take place, always under the careful supervision of teachers. Some excursions are cultural in nature, allowing you to learn more about interesting places in the UK, its history and geography. Other excursions allow children to test themselves and their strengths.

All excursions are a great opportunity to gain practical English skills.
