Concord College is an independent international boarding school in which children from all over the world study. The college is located in the town of Shrewsbury, in the heart of England, on the border with Wales. This area is considered one of the most beautiful in the country. EQUIPMENT

The college covers an area of ​​80 acres in the beautiful and safe English countryside. The ancient monastery, which used to be on the site of the college, harmoniously combines with new buildings.

A two-year program for obtaining a certificate of general secondary education (General Certificate of Secondary Education). 6 compulsory and optional subjects are studied.

A-level

ACCOMMODATION

College accommodation and the nearest village of Acton Burnell, 200 meters away. The college has 17 comfortable houses for living, from 6 to 60 people live in each house. All rooms are single, very beautiful and bright, with a sink and shower.

Students are completely safe, under the constant supervision of mentors. 90% of students live on campus. On the territory of the college there is a medical centre in which highly qualified nurses and doctors work.

SPORT

Sport is part of school life, and each student plays sports at least once a week. In college, you can engage in a variety of sports: athletics, archery, badminton, basketball, netball, squash, tennis, trampolining, volleyball, water polo, swimming, football, weight training and horse riding. Very popular dance styles: from ballet to hip hop.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

Concord College organizes a large number of school-wide events throughout the year: an international food fair, music shows, fashion shows, talent shows, and more. There is also a program of trips and activities outside the college on weekends, in which students can participate.

Music plays a key role in the creative life of the college. Students can attend individual lessons on playing most musical instruments. There are many music clubs in which students participate. It offers great opportunities for practical training and performances: from informal concerts to performances at talent shows and participating in a magnificent concert at the Severn Theatre in Shrewsbury.

Students can join the Shrewsbury Symphony Orchestra or the Shropshire Youth Orchestra, where they will perform with talented local musicians. The most gifted students take part in music competitions at the regional and national levels.

There are great opportunities for art classes in college. The art department is located in a separate building. Here you can do ceramics, painting, photography, origami, making dolls, silk painting, batik, textiles and much more.

School performances are held in its own theatre. Playing in the theatre gives students a great experience of participating in productions on a large stage. The theatre club takes an active part in the life of the school, and students have the opportunity to regularly perform in front of the audience.
