College Champittet is located in Pully, in the suburbs of Lausanne, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Lausanne is included in the list of World Cultural Heritage Sites and is under the protection of UNESCO. The beauty of Lake Geneva and the snow-covered Alps surrounding it, the medieval spiers of cathedrals and castles, the atmosphere of serenity and peace have always attracted people here.
The college was created by Dominican monks in 1903 as a Catholic school for boys. Since 1984, girls began to be accepted into the school. Now it is a private international educational institution where boys and girls of various nationalities and cultures study.
Since 1993, the school annually accepts up to 80 students in its old building during the summer holidays.

EQUIPMENT
The school occupies 40,000 square meters. m. of magical forest in the immediate vicinity of Lake Geneva and the centre of Lausanne (only 45 minutes from Geneva Airport). The school residence offers excellent conditions, both for the development of intelligence, and for acquiring excellent physical shape, strengthening the nervous system and developing spirituality. The beautiful old building has comfortable bedrooms, a dining room, classes and a library. The school has external and boarding departments.
PROGRAM
The program of the summer camp in Switzerland on the basis of College Champittet is aimed at developing leadership qualities in the child, at the ability to work together as a team, at the ability to be both a leader and a subordinate, at the ability to independently build their schedules and schedules.
The program in the camp is selected in such a way that the guys are fully involved in the process. At the end of the program, each child draws up his own plan for the vision of his goals and objectives for the current year or more. The program is good in that it really “collects” and motivates the guys.
The course program includes:
- Time management, goal setting and ability to prioritize
- Communication course, interviews and presentation skills
- Team role and teamwork
- Etiquette course, international etiquette and cultural difference
- It takes 15% of the course time.
The leadership program is directly related to the activism program. Active events take 85% of the time:
- Expedition to the Glacier
- Ice climbing
- Mountain expeditions and first aid courses
- Rock climbing
- Canoeing
- Water sports
- Bowling, mini-golf and karting
- Dance workshops
- Create a video about the camp
As well as many excursions to cultural attractions.
ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD
Children live in comfortable double rooms. Some rooms have great views of Lake Geneva. Each student has his own bed and desk.
School chefs are tireless in their quest to improve the quality of the dishes on offer. The school canteen deserved to be awarded a special sign - the Green Label, which means that the school menu meets the highest standards of proper and healthy nutrition developed by the World Health Organization.
SPORT
Champittet College is located a few meters from Lake Geneva. On its territory are located: a park and sports facilities that allow students to engage in tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer and even swimming, windsurfing and water skiing. In addition to everything, children will be pleased with the new water park, which is a favourite vacation spot for young people after classes.
EXCURSIONS
In summer, Lausanne hosts a host of outdoor events. For example, festivals such as Festivalde la Cite, Jazz Festival and Nyon Paleo Festival provide an opportunity to see the city from a different perspective
The children will also be offered an exciting program after classes: visiting the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, the Red Cross Museum, the astronomical observatory, the chocolate factory, the cheese factory, the salt mines, etc.
