Cardiff Sixth Form College was founded in 2004 and is considered one of the best Sixth Form colleges in the UK. Cardiff is not a specialized language school, so the school does not offer EFL (additional English classes). However, the summer school program is designed for students who want to improve their English skills. Cardiff also offers IELTS exam preparation and English for final exams for our A-level students who want to thoroughly prepare for IELTS and get a grade of 6.5.

After filling out the questionnaire and paying entrance fees, applicants for school attendance are invited to an interview on Skype. The applicant must also be ready for the entrance test, which takes place in the college department, if the exams are conducted in accordance with the standard procedure.

The decision is based on both academic preparation and the results of the interview.

Practical Entrepreneur Program

Students must be 16 years old or so. They must pass 5 final exams at school or have equivalent qualifications at level B or higher, including English and math. A solid knowledge of English is expected at IELTS 5.5+ or equivalent.

The student will receive an Edexcel qualification, which is equivalent to three British A Levels.

ACCOMMODATION

Students are offered housing in nearby families or in one of the college residences. One of the residences is located 10 minutes from the college, it has single rooms with private facilities and double rooms. The level of the residence is high, they are very modern: new furniture, good repair, a lot of light. The residence has a common lounge and kitchen.

SPORT

The college has an agreement with the most prestigious fitness club in Davis Lloyds, all students are invited to study in it.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

Students take part in the work of numerous clubs and societies organized in the college, such as: young entrepreneurs, a discussion club, the Oxbridge community, the scientific community and many others.

SERVICES OF THE EDUCATIONAL COMPANY INCLUDE

• Selection of 5-6 schools that best meet the individual characteristics of the child, further goals, talents, with the desired environment. Help in the correct interpretation of school ratings, an explanation of why the school occupies one place or another. Help in obtaining reliable information about schools that are not included in the ratings, with an explanation of the reasons for non-participation in it.
• Admission to 1-3 schools, selected from the proposed. Which includes the preparation of the necessary documents, school reports, characteristics, recommendations. Selection and submission of tests to prepare the student for exam testing, assistance in preparing essays. Preparation for an interview with the teacher / principal, registration for the exam. The necessary list of recommendations when attending school for passing entrance examinations. Correspondence with the school (not all schools enter into correspondence with foreign parents, treat them with caution, trust only a trusted agent).

The gloomy brick building of the Cardiff Sixth Form College inspires depression ... but we in Britain believe: the main thing is not the form, but the content!

We wander through beautiful classrooms and laboratories. Nothing interesting: neither your paintings, nor fleshy guys on the rugby field, and there is no field ... but there is study, and it is here itself a work of art.

For admission you need 6-7 grades of "A *". Or according to the new system - solid “8” and “9”. Like a snake, I stretch my neck. They captured my attention! Does it happen?! Apparently, yes, if as many as 320 people study at this factory of super-excellent students!
