University of Sheffield is a public higher education institution in Great Britain. The university began its academic activities in 1897. The University of Sheffield is consistently ranked in the top 20 UK universities.
The university is part of the Russell Group - a group of interaction of 24 elite British educational institutions, which account for 2/3 of all research grants in the country. Five graduates of the university became Nobel laureates in the field of physiology and medicine and in the field of chemistry.

PROGRAM
University International Foundation Year
The university enjoys a deservedly high reputation for the quality of its teaching. Among the strongest areas: architecture, geography, mechanical engineering, political science, information technology, history, urban and regional planning.
An international college based on the university offers foreign students a special training program, in which applicants can prepare for admission, "tighten up" their English and knowledge of academic subjects. After completing the International Foundation program, you can enter the first year of the bachelor's degree in the chosen specialty. Students choose the direction of study they are interested in:
- Business, Social Sciences and Humanities
- Science and Engineering
English Language Preparation
The program lasts 1 or 2 semesters and is aimed at students whose English level is not yet sufficient to study in the International Foundation Year program.
