PROGRAM
University International Foundation Year
Preparatory programs are conducted especially for foreign students, which take place on the basis of the university and help prepare for admission to Durham University. During the training, applicants improve their English proficiency and improve their knowledge of academic subjects. After completing the International Foundation program, you can enter the first year of the bachelor's degree in the chosen specialty. Students choose the direction of study they are interested in:
- Business, economics, accounting and finance.
- Humanities, jurisprudence and social sciences.
- Science and engineering.
A foundation year programme is a gateway into full higher education study. It’s an extra year added on to the beginning of your full bachelor’s degree, to prepare you with the foundational academic skills that will help you go on to successfully earn your bachelor’s degree afterwards.
