PROGRAM
The Discovery Years
New Discovery Years programme offers students aged 11+ an exciting opportunity to take their first steps into the British education system earlier, and benefit from early preparation to succeed in their future GCSE and IGCSE studies. The Discovery Years programme is equivalent to Years 7-9 in the British education system. On this course, our students study a broad and interesting curriculum. Throughout the course, students engage in active learning, project work, teamwork and presentations, whilst developing their own study skills. Our students enjoy studying a range of academic subjects and significantly improve their English language skills with the support from our highly-qualified and experienced teachers.
One-Year IGCSE
The One-Year IGCSE course enables students who are age 15+ to achieve the same qualification that British students gain in two years. How do we do it in half the time? Small classes, specialist teachers and the focus that comes from everyone being on the same journey. The shorter, more intensive course is a cost effective way to gain this internationally recognised qualification.
Students on our One-Year IGCSE course typically finish with between 5 to 8 IGCSE/GCSEs. A shorter, intensive programme – achieving the same qualifications as British students in half the time. Interactive teaching, developing key skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving, as well as life skills such as organisation and time-management.
Two-Year IGCSE
Our Two-Year IGCSE course for students age 14+ covers a wide range of subjects at an introductory level. It allows students to develop their language skills across the curriculum and raises awareness about the range of subjects available, whilst increasing their understanding of the British education system. The course design is influenced by the IB Middle Years programme.
Students on our Two-Year IGCSE course typically finish with between 8 to 11 IGCSE/GCSEs. A popular alternative to our intensive, One-Year IGCSE course for students with a lower English proficiency. Attaining the same number of IGCSE/GCSE qualifications as British students.
A-level
The course lasts 2 years. The program of the course is aimed at preparing for university admission and passing exams in a number of disciplines to obtain an "advanced" certificate: Advanced Level General Certificate of Education. In the first year of study, students’ study 4-5 subjects, in the second - 3-4 subjects in depth. Subjects are selected based on the interests of students and the requirements of their chosen university.
A-level offers a choice of 35 academic disciplines that can be combined in almost any combination. Students who need to improve their knowledge of the English language are offered a special course focused on preparing for the IELTS exam.
