The prestigious international boarding school is located in the small town of St. Gilgen, on the banks of a beautiful lake surrounded by Alpine mountains. The school was founded in 2008. A beautiful and large campus of the educational institution is located in a park area right on the lake. Previously, the family of the famous composer Mozart lived here.

The school's motto: "Healthy body, healthy mind, healthy mind." It is these three components that underlie the teaching methodology of the educational institution.

EQUIPMENT

The school has created excellent conditions for learning, recreation and sports development. The campus consists of 5 academic buildings and 4 residences. On the school campus there are: a superbly equipped library, a media centre and an art centre equipped with modern technologies, scientific laboratories, a yacht club, tennis courts, basketball courts and playgrounds for various sports.

Climbing facilities, a gymnasium and a swimming pool, riding grounds are located near the campus. The school has its own cinema and theatre, a boat station on the lake (sailing lessons are held here), a modern sports complex, and a shop. Wherever the student is on campus, he has a magnificent view of the mountains surrounding St. Gilgen.

PROGRAM

Classes in English or German are available for students of all levels: from beginners to advanced. Classes are held from Monday to Friday for 3 hours every day, for a total of 15 hours of classes per week. Teachers strive to make classes as fun and involving children as possible in the learning process.

After lunch, students will engage in active sports: hiking, rock climbing with breathtaking views, rowing and kayaking on a crystal blue lake, cycling, swimming, cliff jumping, golf and much more.

English immersion

Dates: August 12-25, 2023. Age: 12-15 years old.

A program for children with an A2 or B1 English level who want to improve their language skills. It is a wonderful experience of learning English through lessons, activities, theatrical performances, excursions and more. The program includes 5 hours of lessons per day. Class sizes are small, allowing students to receive more individual support.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

St Gilgen International School has three residences, each of which has its own style and character. Some residences have a cosy view of a nice country house decorated with wood panelling, while other residences have a modern setting. In each residence, mentors live with the children - they create an atmosphere at home, help students in their daily worries, and support them. A nurse is on duty at the school’s medical centre.

Children live 2 people in a room, each room has its own bathroom. Boys and girls live separately.

Meals are offered from the best local restaurants. Large selection of both national and international dishes. All food is prepared with local ingredients. Diet wishes are taken into account, there is a vegetarian menu.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

After lunch, an active program of activities awaits the children. You can try different types of activities, but you can actively focus on one and achieve significant success in it during your stay in the camp.
